Technical Project Manager
Location: Hybrid in the Washington, DC Metro Area

Overview
  • As a Technical Project Manager at 202 Group, a BlueVoyant company, you will be working in a very challenging and rewarding role performing Project Management duties in a software development agile environment - driving complex projects from inception through completion.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with teams of professionals implementing technology solutions to support multiple business service lines. These solutions are core to our business strategy and will leverage the latest technologies in analytics, cloud computing, applications development, case management, engagement team collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities:
  • Mid-Level Project Manager with experience in managing the end-to-end software development lifecycle of leading-edge Software/Technology projects.
  • Managing projects that involve cross functional teams (design, product, UX, engineering, quality assurance, SME’s, etc.).
  • Manage multiple competing priorities across all phases of projects within the constraints of the scope, resources, time, and budget.
  • Use project management tools to schedule, estimate, and budget, and track progress against timelines.
  • Excellent organization, written, and verbal communications, coupled with responsiveness and follow-through on details; presenting project information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
  • Work with cross functional managers to coordinate joint management oversight and execution of all project changes.
  • Partner with product owners in aligning Engineering efforts with business priorities.
  • Create and maintain various project artifacts for the purposes of clarity and transparency, such as:
    • Project Charter/Initiation Document
    • Project Plan including subsidiary plans for managing requirements, change, testing, communication, implementation, risk, issues etc.
    • Project Schedule
    • Resource Allocation Model and Resource Estimate
    • Risk and Issue Logs
    • Communication Plan
    • Quality Assurance Plan
    • Project Status for weekly and leadership reporting
  • Ensure project team members are accountable to meet project objectives.
  • Utilize solid teamwork and interpersonal skills to realize project objectives.
  • Provide structure and standardization in an unstructured environment
  • Apply the most appropriate methodology to deliverables, in a manner that tunes the process for delivery. 
  • Solid understanding of projects in order to identify gaps in project deliverables and bring a Business Analysis background to the table to ensure project health (fill in with requirements review, testing, etc. to push projects forward).
  • Possess excellent knowledge of Jira, Confluence.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of G Suite products.
  • Possess knowledge of basic excel - using excel formulas and creating pivot tables.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years Project Management experience
  • Business Analyst background preferable
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in a technology company, preferably experience of leading-edge Software/IT company with focus on Security Technologies, Supply Chain Analytics, Solutions, and Tools.
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.
  • Business Analysis certification is preferred but not required (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, CBATL)
  • Project management certification is preferred but not required (ITIL, PMI/CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE2)
  • ISC2 CISSP certification is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Familiarity and/or interest in cyber security, supply chain analysis, government contracting.
  • Familiarity with the tools that support the SDLC (code repository, build tools, etc.)
