Job Role: Microsoft 365 SharePoint Specialist


Location: Remote

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft 365 SharePoint Specialist to manage and optimize our SharePoint environment. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient SharePoint solutions that improve collaboration and productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. SharePoint Administration:

    • Configure and manage SharePoint Online, including site collections, web parts, and permissions.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint performance issues.
  2. Solution Design & Development:

    • Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Implement workflows, forms, and dashboards using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  3. Migration & Upgrades:

    • Lead SharePoint migration projects from on-premises to SharePoint Online or from other collaboration platforms.
    • Ensure smooth upgrades and adoption of new features.
  4. Governance & Compliance:

    • Develop and enforce SharePoint governance policies, standards, and best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
  5. User Training & Support:

    • Provide technical guidance and support for SharePoint end-users.
    • Conduct training workshops and create user documentation.
  6. Integration:

    • Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 apps like Teams and OneDrive.
    • Build workflows that connect SharePoint with external systems or databases.

Qualifications:

  1. Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing and developing SharePoint solutions.
  2. Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Power Platform.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint governance, compliance, and data security practices.
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  3. Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate or SharePoint Developer Associate
