Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a talented UX Designer r to join our Freelancers team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, with a proven record of applying design methodologies and frameworks across different stages of the design process yet with ability to detach from classic UX deliverables and frameworks to map experiences and sketch solutions quickly. You will be responsible for understanding our users' needs, the context in which our products are used, and designing intuitive user journeys and user interfaces that align with business goals.

We are continuously on the lookout for top-tier freelancers to join our Approved Freelancers List (AFL). By joining our talent pool, you position yourself for exciting future projects with some of the world's most renowned brands and high-growth startups on the path to becoming tomorrow’s major names.

What We're Looking For:

We are recruiting candidates who are 100% freelancers—those who manage their own clients and projects independently, without being employed as full-time employees or contractors in any company. Our AFL is exclusively for professionals based in Spanish-speaking Latin American countries, and it’s essential to note that this is not a job opening for an immediate project. Instead, we are building our pool of talent for when relevant projects arise.

Joining our AFL involves the following steps:

  1. Initial Screening Interview – We assess your fit for our future opportunities.
  2. Technical Test – Demonstrate your expertise through a practical assessment.
  3. Tech Interview (Project-Specific) – When a relevant project becomes available, we’ll invite you to a technical interview specific to that opportunity.

By joining our AFL, you’ll be at the forefront when new projects emerge, offering you a prime opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic and innovative team. If you’re a passionate freelancer eager to take on exciting challenges, we want to hear from you!

  • Strong skills in understanding user journey and usability testing.
  • Experience in design methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Agile frameworks is preferred.

  • A degree in the Design field is preferred. Courses on UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a related field are definitely a plus.

  • Research online how an interaction can make use of best practices and common patterns of interaction to enhance the usability and accessibility as part of the solutions designed.
  • Sketch ideas and create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts and user flows.
  • Propose innovative design solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives, ensuring a seamless user experience across digital products.
  • Engage in an iterative design process, testing and refining designs based on different type of inputs (client feedback, user feedback and even analytics).
  • Be adaptable to changing project requirements, timelines, and deadlines, while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
  • Clearly communicate design concepts, decisions, and rationales to the rest of the team and to stakeholders.
