What we’re looking for:
Required:
3+ years experience with e-commerce analytics
2+ years of experience conducting A/B tests, and understanding of different analysis techniques
Deep understanding of digital analytics, Google Analytics (GA4) tagging and reporting capabilities.
Strong communication skills - Strong analysis is a great starting point, but we are also looking for someone who can help connect business partners with the summary and implications of that analysis work
Agility - the ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects and work both collaboratively and autonomously at times
Strong SQL skills.
Driver of business decisions using web data and statistical analyses
Expert in uncovering business and product goals; determine how to frame questions and strategically solve problems
Desired:
Familiar with data layer and web analytics implementations
Familiarity with A/B testing platforms; prefer Optimizely web and full-stack
Exposure to BigQuery; comfortable with leveraging R a plus
Experience delivering training for self-serve web analytics opportunities
Experience delivering results in different modalities (visualization, tables. etc), and providing insights and recommendations.
Experience performing analysis on large and often incomplete data sets and translating results for consumption by business partner
The annual base salary range for this exempt position is $113,000 - $147,000 plus a performance bonus targeted at 5% of base salary, tied to company performance and continued retention. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
What you’ll do:
Understand the business objectives behind requests and provide insights and actionable recommendations.
Partner with digital product, technology, and merchandising teams in understanding site behaviors
Educate the business and product team on self-serve web analytics opportunities to optimize the impact
Proactively define areas of AB testing opportunity to optimize the site
Dive deeper into test analysis to better understand why we are obtaining observed results, and to explain user behavior.
Analyze key web metrics and funnels to monitor and support business and technology
Write and QA tagging requirements to ensure we capture the best data to analyze performance.
Perform exploratory analysis that results in meaningful insights and recommendations for a broad range of subjects and areas of the business

How you’ll make a difference:
As a Senior Web Analyst, you’ll provide detailed analyses, insights, and recommendations in support of Custom Ink’s customer-facing products. You will collaborate with the Product, UX, Marketing, Merchandising & Engineering teams to improve site and product performance. Your work will support conversion optimization efforts, drive positive change through experimental design, and uncover opportunities to improve our website. This role will report to our Director of Data Analytics.
