Agility Federal is hiring nationwide for the next 10 years as a subcontractor on $90B of awarded federal IDIQ contracts supporting the VA, VHA, and ARPA-H with an additional $100B in our IDIQ subcontracting pipeline. As a SkillBridge Intern at Agility Federal LLC, you'll have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our ISO integration initiatives. Working closely with our COO, you will assist in the iterative integration and documentation of Agility Federal's ISO 9001 Quality, 20000-1 Information Technology, 27001 Information Security, and 31000 Risk Management Systems providing the foundation of management across all lines of business (LOBs).
Your main focus will be to integrate these ISO programs to increase Quality while decreasing Risk by ensuring compliance with ISO standards and continuous improvement efforts to strategically obtain Operational Excellence.
This internship requires one to learn ISO standards and how they cyclically iterate and integrate to form the management foundation required for scaled growth while maintaining Operational Excellence.
This position will require a strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to collaborate seamlessly across a quickly growing organization.
You will learn the following:
- ISO 9001, 20000-1, 27001, and 31000 Global Best Practices programs and how they integrate to support the management of scaled growth while increasing Quality and decreasing Risk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (As a DoD SkillBridge intern it is understood that you will come with baseline knowledge but will learn much of the following):
- Maintain and improve the integration and documentation of Agility Federal's ISO 9001 Quality, 20000-1 Information Technology, 27001 Information Security, and 31000 Risk Management Systems’ Programs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and enhance processes.
- Update and maintain documentation related to ISO standards, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Support training and awareness programs on ISO standards and compliance requirements.
- Develop, Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ISO programs and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in ISO standards and industry best practices, and recommend adjustments to the ISO programs as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits and certifications.
Qualifications (As a DoD SkillBridge intern it is understood that you may not possess all of the following qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 Quality, 20000-1 Information Technology, 27001 Information Security, and 31000 Risk Management Systems or similar Systems like TQL, Six Sigma, etc.
- Experience in maintaining ISO programs and driving compliance initiatives.
- Lean Six Sigma/PMP certifications (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) would be beneficial.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with federal government contracting and compliance requirements is a plus.
