As a software engineer at LUMASERV, you'll collaborate with our skilled product managers, developers, and architects on customer projects that serve millions of users daily.

You're an ideal candidate if you appreciate the simplicity and lightness Laravel brings to application development.

Your responsibilities will include drafting APIs and further developing the implementations for our numerous Laravel-based customer projects. We utilize technologies such as Laravel, VueJS, Livewire, PrimeVue, and Bootstrap in these projects.

Implementation of concepts using modern web frameworks
Writing and maintaining automated software tests
Conceptualisation of APIs, middleware and interoperable systems (like APIs)
Maintenance of the codebase (refactoring, cleanup, etc.)
Reviewing changes made by other developers
Implement clean-coding standards and domain driven design patterns

Professional experience in backend development using modern web technologies
Proficiency in PHP or Java
Experience with modern web frameworks such asÂ Laravel, Symfony, Slim, Spring
Familiarity with working with HTTP REST/RPC interfaces and understanding of common documentation formats (Swagger/OpenAPI)
Proficient in using project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and agile workflows (Kanban, SCRUM)
Optional: Software architecture and domain driven design
