Maritz is seeking a motivated and results-driven hunter sales executive to join our dynamic sales team to grow Maritz revenue and gross profit. You will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by identifying and acquiring new customers for our exciting new channel engagement offering. You will manage the transition of sold business to account management and customer success teams to ensure a smooth and successful client onboarding.

Primary Responsibilities
PROSPECTING AND SALES 80%
Prospect, identify, and target potential customers through various lead generation strategies, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
Conduct thorough research to understand the needs, pain points, and challenges of prospective customers seeking Channel engagement solutions.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to effectively penetrate new markets and industries.
Builds contacts with functional managers and senior executives with decision-making authority, as well as Procurement/Purchasing.
Evaluates prospective accounts’ business environments continuously.
Recognize opportunities where Maritz Channel Engagement solution can bring value to the client’s needs, and develops sales strategies and solutions linked to their business priorities, initiatives, and goals.
Conduct engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the unique value proposition of Maritz, return on investment (ROI), and/or quantifiable result that the buyer can expect from the proposed solution.
Actively listen to customer feedback and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target organizations.
Successfully negotiates profitable agreements. Transitions sold business to Account Executive and assigned Customer Success team.

INDUSTRY/CLIENT INTELLIGENCE & ADMIN 20%
Research client's business, including industry issues and trends; products and services; customers and distribution channels; competitors; financial status; strategic direction, key initiatives in long and short-range plans, and decision-making processes; buying practices; organizational hierarchy.
Stay up to date with channel trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to effectively position our service.
Updates sales planning tools regularly, including CRM, specific account plans, and discovery documents.
Manages expense reports. Manages the Submits PD work orders. Maintains ongoing involvement with AEs, Customer Success, Solution Design team, Operations, and others on all aspects of client engagement.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis.
Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipelines for management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). or equivalent work experience.
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in a hunter sales role.
Demonstrated understanding of how successful Channel engagement programs work and the benefits they provide vendors.
Strong team player: Demonstrates excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, actively contributing to the success of the team and fostering a positive work environment.
Excellent prospecting skills and ability to generate leads through various channels.
Demonstrated understanding of how to successfully develop account sales strategies.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with customers.
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated understanding of pricing and profitability models.
Knowledge of experience / solution design methodology desired.
Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time required.
Adaptability and willingness to embrace new technologies and tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
