About the Role
As the Content Manager, you will apply your subject matter expertise in health law practice to Practical Guidance. You’ll write, create, and edit thought leadership content and network with attorney authors. You will stay on top of the latest legal and practice developments to drive strategic development and delight customers. You will collaborate across functions to drive customer satisfaction and usage and to provide time-saving solutions to customers.
 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating on team initiatives and projects to support managers and other business partners (including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Product Managers)

  • Aligning with strategy and goals of the business, managing end-to-end development of your practice area’s content and features

  • Creating and updating authoritative, accurate, up-to-date, market-leading, polished practical insights

  • Managing external author content and developing author relationships

  • Leveraging customer feedback to create the most useful legal content, tools, and resources

  • Maintaining awareness of practice area trends and news to evolve the product

  • Understanding the value proposition of Practical Guidance and representing the content and practice area within the organization and externally


Requirements

  • Experience in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as online legal research

  • Have J.D. or equivalent law degree and at least one bar accreditation in a U.S. jurisdiction (active and in good standing)

  • Have proven relevant experience in health law practice at a law firm, in-house, or in government

  • Have subject matter expertise in healthcare transactions and state and federal healthcare regulatory compliance and licensing matters

  • Knowledge of non-profit laws as applied to healthcare organizations a plus

  • Possess excellent writing and analytical skills

  • Recent experience in drafting client newsletters/alerts, law journal articles, practical guidance, CLE presentations, or other legal writing
