AWS Devops Engineer / Senior (Remote)

Project

• Maintain AWS infrastructure, task & workflow (Amazon Simple Workflow)
• Improve AWS resource management

Role

• CI/CD the Software and Processes of the Deployment pipeline
• Manage and enhance the production system on AWS and ensure scalability, security & availability
• Collaborate with Engineering & Data to determine their AWS requirements

Must Have

• AWS preffered (Can consider GCP)
• Terraform

Nice-to-have

• AWS certifications / AWS Certified Developer
• CICD tooling and deployment strategies
• OpenTofu

Culture

• This role reports to the CTO (and co-founder) who leads the infra team directly (Engineering is via the HO Engineering)
• All engineers are based in Malaysia and meet in person 1-2 times a month
• High trust environment, you can work from home, set your own hours etc
• Would suit someone who has worked in a start up /scale up before and has a continuous improvement mindset.

Level / Grade

• Can hire 1 head count at Engineer or Senior Engineer Level
• 1+ years in Devops, Cloud, Infra for Engineer and 3+ for Senior Engineer

Work arrangement / Location

• 99% work from home, 1-2 times a month work from KL office
