About the project:

As a Senior Java Engineer on the Partner Integrations Squad you will have the opportunity to be a leader on a team that creates and maintains distributed, event-driven microservices using Java and Kubernetes. This is a great opportunity for engineers looking for the opportunity to really do cloud-native engineering “the right way.” You will have lots of opportunities to grow as a leader and advance your career beyond just in technical ways.
Our team is steeped in cloud-native principles. We leverage ‘value added’ AWS services like Aurora, DynamoDB, and MSK, deploying multiple times per day.

Our fully automated CI/CD pipelines run tests (no manual QA), run load tests, send out release notes and notifications, rollback on errors, etc.
We are currently working on a migration towards a global platform where we will own the global enforcement and platform services. We have a helpful and friendly vibe and are always learning. You will be able to:

Drive architecture and design efforts for the Integrations team.
Drive use of engineering best practices for the team and foster an environment where meeting these requirements is the standard.
Mentor newer engineers to help them grow in their own careers.
Implement distributed, event-driven microservices in Java.
Represent the team in architecture, design, and other technical meetings with stakeholders.
Occasionally, present new services and major features to our Architecture Review Board for approval

What will help you succeed in this role:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ Years of experience working with Java.
4+ Years of experience working with Kotlin.
2+ Years of experience working with Microservices.
2+ Years of experience working with Kubernetes.
2+ Years of experience working with AWS.
Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
