EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 12 – 14 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Principal Consultant to lead and oversee the technical aspects of our SAP projects, and also be part of competency growth by managing team members. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical expertise in ABAP and EWM, with a proven track record in implementing and managing complex SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of SAP ABAP solutions, including core programming, object-oriented ABAP, and advanced development techniques.
• Develop and manage complex forms using Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
• Design and implement SAP interfaces and integration solutions, including IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and middleware solutions (SAP PI/PO, CPI).
• Manage data migration and conversion projects, utilizing tools like LSMW, BDC, LTMC, and BODS.
• Configure and optimize SAP EWM processes, including inbound/outbound processes, RF framework, and custom developments.
• Implement and customize SAP HANA and S/4HANA solutions, including CDS Views, OData, AMDPs, and specific S/4HANA enhancements.
• Troubleshoot SAP Fiori and UI5 applications, Enhancing standard Fiori Apps OData services
• Utilize ABAP Development Tools (ADT) for modern development practices and version control.
• Conduct thorough code testing and quality assurance
• Lead and mentor development teams, manage project timelines, and ensure delivery using Agile methodologies.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, user manuals, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

• Technical EWM: EWM configuration, inbound/outbound processes, RF framework, troubleshooting.
• Core ABAP Programming: Advanced ABAP syntax, modularization, performance tuning, debugging.
• Object-Oriented ABAP: Expertise in ABAP Objects, classes, interfaces, design patterns.
• Enhancements & Modifications: Proficiency with user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement techniques.
• Forms Development: Experience with Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms, BRF+ added advantage.
• SAP Interfaces & Integration: Knowledge of IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, SAP PI/PO, CPI, EDI.
• Data Migration & Conversion: Skills in LSMW, BDC, LTMC, BODS.
• SAP HANA & S/4HANA: Expertise in SAP HANA, CDS Views, AMDPs, S/4HANA customizations.
• Advanced ABAP Programming: AMDP, CDS, RAP - cloud/on-premise environments.
• ABAP Development Tools (ADT): Eclipse-based ADT, modern development practices.
• Project Management & Leadership: Team leadership, Agile methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  
  

Certifications

• Certifications on latest technical areas like ABAP Backend cloud developer is an added benefit
