Element has an exciting opportunity for an Instructional Designer/Training Specialist to join our team!  This person will be a part of a team that provides live training to new and existing clients as well as designs, creates and maintains our current Learning Management System (LMS) for both internal and external clients.  We would love to find someone who has experience in this field but are also more than willing to train candidates who have a positive attitude and strong technical skills.  General job duties include:

 

  • Meeting with clients to evaluate and determine training needs
  • Create training timeline and set expectations with clients
  • Develop, create and customize training solutions (both live courses and prerecorded/self-paced training)
  • Deliver live, virtual training sessions
  • Support end users beyond initial training including answering questions on technical issues and training content
  • Maintain LMS including enrolling new users, uploading new content and troubleshooting with end users
  • Create and manage training calendar
  • Build feedback process to enable team to use real time analytics to improve overall end user experience
  • Engage internal and external clients by marketing and advertising existing and new training content

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years customer service experience
  • Strong technical acumen including use of basic software (Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.) as well as intermediate technical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High level of comfort presenting information/content to a large client base
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Quick learner and willingness to be trained on a variety of tasks
  • Team oriented individual

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous training, teaching or leadership experience (in person and/or virtually)
  • Experience or exposure to legal industry
  • Video editing skills
  • Experience with eLearning or video editing software such as Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.
  • Experience developing and/or writing training content or web design
