Your missions

Printful is an on-demand printing and fulfillment company that helps people turn their ideas into brands and products. We empower thousands of businesses—from iconic brands like Coca-Cola and MTV to small business owners working out of their living rooms.

Our team is at the heart of our success. You’ll be part of a culture where everyone is respected, included, and encouraged to grow. We value continuous learning, uphold a high work ethic, and have fun along the way.

If you’re motivated, forward-thinking, and have a drive for excellence, Printful is the right workplace for you. Our business keeps growing, so we’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our IT Team. The team consists of 150+ experts who work on various internal and external projects. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll simplify and improve the workflow of hundreds of Printful employees. You’ll be able to learn new tools and create infrastructure to support projects of different types and sizes.

Now is an exciting team to join our team as we’re in the process of redefining and improving our foundational development platform. We’re in the early phases of implementing very interesting, impactful, and ambitious projects in our roadmap and we’re looking for a teammate who would help us reach these goals.

Your daily tasks will entail:
  • Working on large, fundamental projects that define our platform

  • Implementing development tools and processes (e.g., CI/CD, monitoring)

  • Writing infrastructure as code

  • Administrating AWS services and Linux servers

  • Organizing and participating in team discussions

  • Performing code reviews

  • Working closely with other IT teams to reach common goals

A little insight into our infrastructure and our team—we have services that are provisioned both on cloud (AWS) and on-premises on our servers. We use best practices and cutting-edge approaches, for example, technologies like Terraform for IaC and Kubernetes for application deployment.

Our team follows the Agile/Scrum methodology, and we encourage collaboration and higher quality standards by following the four-eye principle and performing code reviews. The job in our team is challenging and exciting. You’ll discover that trust in your team and your professional know-how pays off: you don’t know where it may take you.

We offer:
  • Monthly salary starting from EUR 3,500 gross, depending on your experience and skills

  • An opportunity to work remotely or in a modern and welcoming office in Rīga

  • Flexible working hours (start your day as late as 11 a.m.)

  • All the tools you’ll need for work (Mac or Windows and hardware of your choice)

  • Free and healthy lunch at the office

  • Health insurance, including a mental wellness program

  • A day off on your birthday

  • Gym membership

  • Possibility to work abroad for 3 months each year

  • Employee discounts for 300+ premium products

  • Coaching sessions with certified in-house coaches

  • Resources for professional development (conferences, books, workshops, mentoring, courses, guest lectures)

  • Exciting team-building events and parties you’ll never forget

Below is a list of formal requirements, but what matters the most is that you’re willing to learn different approaches to manage infrastructure at scale. Since we’re an international team, our developers also need to have good English skills

What we expect from you:
  • 3+ years of experience

  • A knack for problem-solving, creative and analytical thinking

  • Attention to detail and ability to find issues and solutions

  • Initiative and incentive to move large and impactful projects forward

  • Expertise in:

    • Docker/Docker Compose

    • Creating infrastructure as a code (Terraform)

    • Kubernetes, Helm charts

    • HTTP/HTTPS/TLS/SSH/SFTP

    • AWS services like EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, Route53, Lambda, IAM

  • Experience with monitoring tools like AWS Cloudwatch/Zabbix/NewRelic/Grafana Loki stack

  • Understanding of basic networking concepts

  • Experience working with different Linux distributions (Debian, Redhat);

  • Experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines

  • Proficiency in managing MySQL, PostgreSQL servers and understanding of complex queries

Experience with or knowledge of the following tools and tasks will be considered an advantage:
  • Gitlab CI

  • Terraform

  • Big Data solutions

  • Security monitoring

  • Development/coding

  • Experience working with  Nginx and PHP-FPM (FastCGI Process Manager)

Printful is an equal opportunity workplace. We’re committed to diversity and inclusion and make our hiring decisions based solely on qualifications, merit, and work experience.
