Virtuozzo is looking for an outstanding Business Development Representative (BDR)/Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team, who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a strong understanding of the IT business and channel business dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and markets within the IT sector.
  • Utilize various tools and platforms to gather contact information and maintain an updated database of leads.
  • Engage with prospects through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
  • Qualifying Leads:
  • Assess the needs and challenges of potential clients to determine if they are a good fit for our IT solutions.
  • Schedule and conduct introductory meetings to understand client requirements and introduce company offerings.
  • Develop a deep understanding of channel business dynamics and leverage this knowledge to identify and qualify leads.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information to the sales team to facilitate the sales process.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Follow-Up:
  • Maintain regular follow-up with potential clients to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Update CRM system with accurate and timely information regarding leads and sales activities.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
  • Track and analyze key metrics to identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales, business development, or sales development role, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT business principles and channel business dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving targets
  • Portuguese language skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the IT industry.
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of channel sales and indirect sales models.
