Innovation Roundtable is the leading network for innovation executives in large multinational companies. We organize corporate-only events on various innovation management, and more recently, HR and marketing topics, hosted by companies in Europe, the US, and China, as well as our Summit in Copenhagen attended by 600 corporate innovators, the world’s largest gathering of its kind.

We are now seeking a dynamic Content Strategist to drive and execute Innovation Roundtable Content Strategy, and to join the digital marketing team within the marketing and events department.

What is the job?

The job of our new Content Strategist is perfect for a creative thinker with a knack for turning ideas into compelling content.

We’re looking for a Content Strategist that won’t just be writing content. Instead, we need a new colleague that will be the mastermind behind repurposing our vast materials and resources. Are you the right person to step in and transform our existing content into engaging content that boost brand awareness and drive business growth?

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy, aligning with our business goals and optimizing for maximum engagement and brand visibility

  • Develop and implement channel-specific content strategies to ensure each platform is optimized for its audience and purpose

  • Repurpose content from our events into a variety of formats including blog posts, social media updates, videos, infographics, and more

  • Work closely with the various stakeholders events teams on content-related tasks, (including developing the content calendar for different channels) and leading content production efforts

  • Collaborate with innovation writers and subject matter experts to refine content, generate ideas, and ensure accuracy and relevance in all published materials

  • Perform regular content audits to identify gaps, optimize content and refine the overall strategy, ensuring all content is consistent with brand guidelines and meets our high standard of quality and impact

  • Leverage Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, and possibly other SEO tools (Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc) to research content opportunities, analyze performance and refine strategies

  • Assist with various content-related tasks and projects as needed to support the overall content strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Content Strategist or in a similar role (2+ years).

  • Strong skills in editing and repurposing content.

  • Experience with analytics and keyword planning tools, either Google’s or external options eg. Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest

  • Understanding of design and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and create visually appealing content

  • Experience in content focused on corporate innovation, marketing, and/or HR is highly desirable and a significant plus, but not a requirement

  • A team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Business savvy, with a focus on using content to drive sales and engagement.
