About This Role:

Tria Federal (Tria) is looking for a Staff I Consultant to join our team of dynamic healthcare consulting professionals. Our consultants play a critical role in the continued long-term growth of the company and spend a significant amount of time interacting with clients, coordinating and leading project team members and developing and contributing to work products and contract deliverables. We are looking for candidates who possess a tendency towards action, have innovative ideas and the ability to anticipate a client’s needs to achieve extraordinary results.
 

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Seeks information, resources, and training needed to accomplish assigned tasks effectively.
  • Monitors and follows project plans, prioritize activities to meet timelines, identifies and escalates issues quickly.
  • Meets deliverable timelines of project plan goals while maintaining quality and integrity.
  • Actively participates within the team, exhibiting exemplary disposition.
  • Demonstrates comfort with change and ambiguity.
  • Embraces the opportunity to collaborate with employees whose backgrounds or expertise are different.
  • Maintains engagement with colleagues in support of Tria mission and goals.
  • Actively participates in internal and external initiatives.
  • Adheres to all established project processes, procedures, and guidelines regarding resources and how to use them.
  • Executes project management principles and adheres to defined work plans while maintaining all established timelines and deliverable deadlines.
  • Develops effective internal and external presentations and skillfully facilities client and internal team meetings.
  • Ability to meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks, and utilizing available resources.
  • Accurately documents client communications and shares information with the project team.

The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of consulting or healthcare operations experience required, preferably in a federal consulting environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge and a working understanding of healthcare and/or health plan operations concepts, business processes and/or provider networks within the healthcare industry (commercial or federal).
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverables in tight time frames.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office mastery (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
