About the job
As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for achieving sale quotas and account objectives. They will build, maintain, and expand relationships with the company’s customers. In addition, they will represent the company’s products, services, and solutions to customers, while managing the accounts’ planning cycle and ensuring customers’ needs and expectations are met by the Company. This is a remote position based out of the Greater Miami (Miami/Fort Lauderdale) Area that requires frequent travel by car across the state of Florida.
What are the essential job functions
- Present and sell company products, services, and solutions to current and potential security system integrators and distributors.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for sales matters between the Company and the customers.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including sales call activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to goals.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including Sales Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, RMA personnel, Accounting, Logistics, Product Management, etc., in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
- Participate in marketing events, such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and opportunities.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
- Assist with high severity issue escalations as needed.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up metrics.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship.
- Follow up on sales leads and referrals.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge.
- Other sales duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need (Required)
- Degree in Business or equivalent and/or 3-5 years of professional experience in sales.
- Must be prepared for travel 50%-75% of the time.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
- Driver’s License with Acceptable Driving Record.
What Else We Look For (Preferred)
- 2+ Years of sales experience in CCTV or Security Systems Industry.
- Experience and strong understanding in surveillance, IP camera, DVRs, electronics equipment, and instrument-related industry a plus
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
- Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive technical approaches.
- Strong knowledge of core technologies and solutions concepts.
- Demonstrated success and leadership in project management.
- Demonstrated effective leadership competencies.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
- Advanced level PC skills to include MS Office and MS Project.

What is the compensation and benefits
The On-Target-Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $80,625.00 - $134.375.00 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
