What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with 5+ years of experience and expertise in sports gambling, particularly football. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing predictive models, algorithms, and software for sports betting. This freelance role requires 10-15 hours per week, perfect for someone eager to bring their skills to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python applications for football betting and predictions.
• Design algorithms to predict match outcomes and player performance.
• Analyze large datasets to guide betting strategies.
• Integrate APIs with sports data providers for accurate predictions.
• Collaborate with data scientists to refine models and improve performance.
• Ensure application reliability and scalability during peak times.
• Stay updated on football and sports gambling trends to enhance models.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python development, focused on backend.
• Expertise in predictive models for sports gambling, especially football.
• In-depth knowledge of football betting markets and key performance indicators.
• Proficient in Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Django, Flask.
• Experience with large datasets and sports data APIs (e.g., Sportradar, Betfair).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage time well.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
