HYBRID ROLE -This role frequently requires onsite presence in both Manchester NH and Nashua NH for facilities / construction, clinical, and IT projects.  Expense coverage for onsite work is strictly limited to mileage reimbursement at standard rates.

About the Job:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for IT projects with overall responsibility for the direction, scope, cost, schedule, quality, and success of the projects. This includes managing the project plan, budget, issues management list, work breakdown structure, and other project management tools. This position will coordinate all project activities: software and hardware implementation training, and optimization, business and IT related tasks, internal communications, process improvement, and develop a plan for sustaining support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the leadership and other stakeholders to establish the strategic direction of the organization’s information systems to ensure goals are achieved.

  • Assist project sponsors in establishing project goals, metrics, and baselines.

  • Develop detailed project implementation plans including finalization of project team structure, task list, task interdependencies, timetable, and budget.

  • Define, identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external resources and expertise, as appropriate, for the project implementation.

  • Lead and direct work assignments of internal and external resources to ensure support efforts are accomplished successfully.

  • Initiate and facilitate change management through established communication methods.

  • Oversee development of integrated testing, validation, development of training materials, and the conduct of the training.

  • Identify, monitor, and develop strategies for mitigation.

  • Act as single point of contact or escalation for customers and facilitating contact with the correct resources.

  • Develop and assist with communications to the organization and customers regarding the project initiatives, status, and progress.

  • Requires occasional off-hours work on weekend, holiday, and overnights.

Who You Are:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. If leading Epic projects module Certification Agile and SCRUM certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in IT and business with demonstrated experience leading diverse project teams and managing complex and risky projects. Demonstrated experience with one or more project management methodologies and across a range of project types required. Healthcare/Clinical project experience Strongly preferred.
