Technical Trainer, South Central
Job Description
Summary:
The South Central Business Area for Axis Communications is looking for a Technical Trainer to deliver Axis Academy courses to partners, end-customers, and internal employees. Training are held at Axis Experience Centers (AEC) and at remote locations such as hotel conference centers and customer offices. Most training courses are delivered in-person, although some may be offered as virtually.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
• Deliver courses, webinars and podcasts as prescribed in assigned schedule
• Maintain training equipment and assigned equipment crates
• Keep training materials current as released by Axis Academy team
• Perform needs analysis for course development and provide feedback to Axis Academy team
• Conduct customer evaluations and surveys after training delivery
• Perform other related duties when assigned
• Travel according to assigned training schedule
• Must be comfortable speaking to an audience of 5-20 attendees regularly
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Self-motivated team player
• Must be resourceful and flexible
• Must reflect a professional etiquette and act as an ambassador for Axis
• Previous Education and /or Training Experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering is a plus
• Preferably 4 years related experience in training, education, security industry, IP network surveillance, and/or Information Technology
• Should be familiar with IP Technical background
• Network Surveillance/CCTV
• Understand Networking, network technologies – switching or routing Valued but not required skills or experience

• Expected travel time for this position is approximately 75-85%.
Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000 OTE dependent on location, experience, and education.
