In order to support the growth of the company, Gain.pro is now looking to hire a Junior Finance Associate who will be working closely with Gain.pro’s Financial Controller Kamil Paszek and CFO Jolle Wever. The Junior Finance Associate will be joining at a pivotal point in time as the organisation will continue its steep growth trajectory during 2024.


What will you be responsible for?

As we grow the business across Europe and beyond, Gain.pro will grow its best-in-class Finance team. Junior Finance Associate will be a core member of our Finance team with broad responsibilities and exposure to the overall business. This entails:

  • Supporting the overall FP&A process: annual budgets, re-forecasts, monthly KPI reports, monthly business reviews and consolidated reporting process
  • Providing assistance with the monthly payroll process (done by external parties) and month-closing process
  • Providing support in the areas of tax and subsidies
  • Assisting with the efficient accounts payable/receivable processes
  • Supporting liquidity planning
  • Conducting ad hoc financial analyses

Who are you?

We are searching for someone who is passionate about Finance, who is excited by high-growth technology companies and who flourishes in dynamic environments with broad responsibilities. Also, you like to roll up your sleeves and are output-focused. Moreover, we are looking for the following:

  • Relevant experience – You have worked and excelled for c. 1+ years in a finance-related role, preferably in a Big-4 accounting firm where you did your initial training.
  • Education – You hold a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. It is seen as beneficial if you have started obtaining your accounting qualification – ACCA, CIMA, ACA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Your proficiency in MS Excel is at least intermediate (you are familiar with formulas such as "if", "vlookup" and pivot tables).
  • Systems knowledge – It is seen as beneficial if you have had exposure to one of the integrated financial management/accounting software tools (e.g. Xero, Netsuite etc).
  • Structured – You are well-organised and like to plan ahead.
  • Communication – You display superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical – You have great analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail – You have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-starting – You proactively come up with new ideas and independently drive progress.
  • Languages – You are fluent in English.
