The Role

We are looking for a driven and inventive Senior IaC and Automation Engineer to join our team. The Systems Engineering team architects, implements and supports global hybrid compute and storage services for our development and production environments. This role is in support of the global Systems Engineering team responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of infrastructure that supports our high-performance SaaS trading platform and automating the delivery of existing and new infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities

• You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our technology stack.
• Bring a strong technical knowledge and experience of the entire infrastructure stack to bear in support of both industry standard and in-house built applications.
• As a Senior IaC Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure automation processes using modern DevOps practices and tools.
• Participate in architectural discussions.
• Maintain and enhance existing platforms.
  
  

Requirements

• Team player who is comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment and possesses excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and at least 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role focused on infrastructure automation and IaC.
• Expertise in using infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to manage cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS, Azure).
• Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and configuration management tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and infrastructure architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Strong operating systems management skills, with a proven background in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration, Windows administration experience a plus
• Experience supporting virtualized environments on centralized storage,( e.g. Nutanix, VMware vSphere).
• Ability to work on-call (rotation with the team) or weekends as necessary.
