The Opportunity:
WSP is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and delivery-oriented candidate who has practical experience with Environment Data Management service. As an
Environment Data Management Consultant you will assist with project teams to set-up pre-sampling database structure to Contaminated lands, Environmental Planning, and Environmental Impact Assessment, and other environmental investigations projects.

What you can expect to do here:
- Data Control and Tabulation
- Work with project teams to set-up pre-sampling database structure (typically based on EQuIS) to incorporate field and laboratory data
- Configure EQuIS Enterprise Portals for project site
- Coordinate with analytical laboratories on the delivery of analytical data EDDs through Laboratory Information Management Systems
- Perform quality assurance/quality control checks on analytical data to confirm compliance with prescribed thresholds and limits
- Provide tabular output of laboratory and field data in accordance with project requirements
- Be responsible for product quality control with adherence to company standards
- Teamwork and Collaboration
- Work with and support Contaminated Sites Group on data collection, management and visulization
- Coordinate with GIS Technicians on the development of laboratory and field data (e.g. exceedance plots using GeoCallout software, plan view and/or cross-sectional figures of distribution using ArcGIS or similar platforms)
- Coordinate with GIS Technicians on the development of more complex project deliverables
- Reporting
- Be responsible for product quality control with adherence to company standards
- Prepare project documentation, which could include tabulation of field data, interpret
preparing large portions of the environmental data sections of letters and report
- File and manage all project related field notes and assistance with report preparation
What you’ll bring to WSP:
Degree in Civil Engineer, Environment Science, or other related field, or equivalent experience
- Working towards discipline specific technical accreditation/designation i.e.)
- Required minimum: 5-8 relevant experience in Environmental data Management
- Knowledge of Configure EQuIS Enterprise Portals for project site environmental projects,
- Familiarity with relational database management systems
- Extensive experience with EarthSofts EQuIS suite of products, including desktop and On-line
- Extensive experience with ESRI suite of products, including desktop and On-line
- Experienced knowledge of O365 software is essential: specifically, MS Office: Excel/Access/Word/SharePoint/OneDriveBrad2018
- Ability to work in a very dynamic and demanding work environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
