Job Description

  • Manage Wheel Speed Sensors and Brake Actuation activities, such as, sourcing, supplier claims, TVM, etc
  • Focused commodity for CSW to develop and drive implementation of a Commodity Strategy challenging sourcing timing/process.
  • Work with certified diverse-spend suppliers having a direct impact in Ford's leadership position in Supplier Diversity.
  • Lead development, rollout, maintenance and continuous improvement of QoS process with focus on Wheel Speed Sensors and Brake Actuation
  • Coordinate cross team strategic activities/ lead strategic discussions for suppliers that cross multiple teams (e.g., analysis of financials, future technology, etc.)
  • Work with material cost/program to help manage advance program sourcing.
  • Support critical, ad hoc projects/assignments.
  • Lead strategic projects and studies to support the business and buyers.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply base/commodity strategies.
  • Interact and create strong relationship with cross functional teams to deliver common objectives (cost, timing, quality)
  • Lead negotiations to ensure best cost at sourcing as well as long term price sustainability.
  • Deliver strong data analysis that lead to positive business decisions and robust tracking of price changes through life of the program/project.
  • Lead sourcing processes to deliver best in class value, diverse supply base and strong business relationships with suppliers.
  • Supplier risk management to deliver sourced projects and leveraging Purchasing position to complete them on time.
  • Lead End to End Process to find cost reduction opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business Administration). Technical or Engineering degree, desirable.
  • High business acumen with solid understanding of Global Purchasing operations, desirable.
  • Exceptional data analytics skills - ability to mine data to support the team in making strategic decisions.
  • Advanced English language skills. Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.
