Job Description

Support VEV Lean project for improving and managing the shipping and receiving of prototype parts and vehicles between Mexico and other regions.

Responsibilities

Understand the whole process for sending and receiving parts and vehicles between Mexico and other countries.
Perform benchmark analysis of current shipping processes used internally in US, and among regions.
Identify noise factors for the Mexico logistics operations.
Develop projects with customs and shipping companies, to create a fast, lean, and robust process.
Develop a system to automate documentation filling and processing, to haste logistics across regions.

Automate logistics system through virtual platforms for managing logistics documents, orders, budget, and tracking with all entities involved in the logistics process

Qualifications

Education / Core Skills:

Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
Strong Programming skills, including fundamentals around application of Excel-VB macro development.
Strong English language knowledge, able to sustain and provide solutions to US engineers over phone conversations.
