Sr Project Manager at Horizontal Talent

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This 100% telecommute role is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are passionate about project management and are eager to make a significant impact on a critical project.

As a Sr Project Manager, you will be working on the HI HAP/EDW DDI Project, which is at a crucial stage of delivery. Your role will be pivotal in forecasting the impacts on our project schedule and ensuring smooth coordination with our partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Updating and managing project schedules
• Loading project calendars and adding resources
• Setting up predecessor and successor tasks in the schedule
• Tracking milestones and passing all Federal Checks for a project schedule
• Resource leveling the project schedule
• Calculating CPI, SPI, BEI
  
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Microsoft Project experience, working with multiple project schedules
• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio
• Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions (preferred)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
• Healthcare Information Exchange, EDI, Healthcare Industry experience (preferred)
