Job description

If you have React Native experience and are seeking a new job in Minneapolis, Horizontal Talent wants to hear from you. We are helping a collaborative company recruit a Senior Front End Developer, and the hybrid role comes with a compelling pay rate.

You will be part of a department within Client Digital & Technology that is focused on the OmniChannel selling and delivery process. The team helps manage in-store infrastructure, order management, and all types of digital support.

If you were already in this Senior Front End Developer role, here are some areas you might have been working in this week:

Use your creative and innovation-driven mindset to articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability
Guide and pair program with junior engineers throughout the development process
Advocate for clean code and other best practices through PRs
Use modern web development tools and technologies
Help the customer find the best support that they need, whether that’s an in-person chat or a video consultation with an actual expert

We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer with 8+ years of software engineering experience using JavaScript, React, and Node and iOS/Android development experience. Additional qualifications include:

Experience working on large projects and codebases
4+ years of experience with React Native/Expo
Good technical communication skills with business partners and other engineering teams
Experience with modern testing tools (Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library)
Exposure to Cloud Infrastructure - AWS
