Your missions

T-Rex Solutions is looking to select an Azure Entra Identity and Access Management Specialist to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort.  As the Azure Entra Identity and Access Management Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure identity solutions for our organization. Your primary focus will be leveraging Microsoft Azure Entra's capabilities to enhance our identity management and access control systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our resources are protected through robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement identity management strategies using Azure Entra.
  • Work with customers to establish and maintain B2B integrations across external Azure Tenants
  • Ensure secure authentication and authorization of users across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Develop and maintain access policies in alignment with organizational needs and compliance standards.
  • Integrate Azure Entra with various directories, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Monitor identity and access activities, generate reports, and take proactive measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with the IT security team to design and implement conditional access policies and multi-factor authentication.
  • Conduct regular audits of identity and access management policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users regarding identity and access management best practices.
  • Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and mitigating technologies in identity and access management.
  • Act as a technical lead during incident responses that involve identity compromise or access breaches.
  • Work with vendors and external stakeholders to evaluate and implement new identity management technologies.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure identity services, preferably Azure Entra.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, protocols, and standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, etc.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies) are highly desirable.

Desired:

  • Active Treasury clearance preferred
  • Experience with other identity providers (IdPs) and services like Okta, Ping Identity, or Google Identity.
  • Prior experience with hybrid identity environments, including Azure Active Directory Connect.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, .NET, or Java for custom identity solutions.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
