Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Security Analyst to enhance and secure our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of security principles, policies, and regulations, coupled with a strong ability to identify and resolve security risks. This role requires expertise in both legacy and modern health IT digital architectures, including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, and AI technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities

Security Knowledge: Apply comprehensive knowledge of security principles, concepts, policies, and regulations to ensure robust protection of IT systems.

Risk Identification: Identify and assess risks within security systems, collaborating with technical experts to resolve security issues effectively.

Documentation: Clearly document key concepts, factors, and risks based on discussions and assessments, creating detailed narrative or graphic reports.

Architectural Expertise: Utilize expertise in both legacy and contemporary health IT digital architectures, including cloud technologies, mobile platforms, IoT, APIs, and AI, to enhance system security.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of security principles, concepts, policies, and regulations.

Proven ability to identify risks in security systems and collaborate with technical experts to address security issues.

Skilled in documenting security concepts, factors, and risks in clear and concise reports, both narrative and graphic.

Expertise with legacy and new health IT digital architectures, including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, and AI technologies.

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required

Education:

Required:

Preferred: Master’s Degree in a related scientific or technical discipline, such as Information Technology, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, or Communications and Network Systems Management.

Minimum requirements:

             10 years of relevant experience in IT Security analysis.

 5 + years of enterprise architecture experience may be considered in lieu of the advanced degree requirement.

Security and Privacy Duties and Responsibilities

Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements, as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they must undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals accessing modified data, and the configuration baseline will require further training.
