In support of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Systems Administrator - Salesforce.

Position Summary:
The Systems Administrator, Salesforce is responsible for managing and optimizing Panopto’s Salesforce environment, with an emphasis on Salesforce CPQ, and related third-party software systems. You will be responsible for system administration, data management, user training, and continuous improvement efforts in support of Panopto’s sales and financial processes. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business needs into scalable solutions. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your Salesforce expertise, lead significant projects, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Work you’ll do
In this role, you will: 

In this role, the Systems Administrator, Salesforce will:
Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including onboarding, deactivation, roles, profiles, and permissions.
Manage configuration changes in workflows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, apps, actions, and custom objects.
Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders and translate them into solutions that reflect best practices.
Manage user acceptance testing and gather stakeholder feedback.
Track and respond to support cases, prioritizing issues based on impact to business objectives.
Manage configuration change requests in accordance with organizational change management procedures.
Maintain data quality and integrity by adhering data management best practices.
Stay abreast of new Salesforce releases and share relevant updates and solutions with relevant stakeholders.
Identify inefficiencies and potential solutions to help automate processes, improve data quality, and track important metrics.
Monitor integrations to ensure that they are working as expected.
Create dashboards and reports as necessary to facilitate operational efficiency and provide insight into performance.
Develop and maintain system documentation, support procedures, and user training materials.
Conduct training for new users and provide ongoing support to promote user adoption. 

The Team:
The Systems Administrator, Salesforce is a member of the corporate Information Technology Team, which provides user desktop support, administers business applications, and manages security and privacy controls. 


Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification a plus
  • Basic understanding of business processes and Sales Operations, CLM, Finance/Accounting, and Support Operations 
  • Familiarity with systems and software development life cycle/change management
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Ability to handle workload under time pressure and meet strict deadlines 
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Zapier is a plus
  • Experience managing sales tech stack integrations such as Marketo, Outreach, and Docusign a plus
