Location: Remote - South Africa
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for additional revenue. This role involves maintaining a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, addressing client issues, and working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
2. Sales and Revenue Growth
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
3. Customer Support and Issue Resolution
- Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., customer support, product development) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide clients with timely updates on product enhancements, new features, and industry trends.
4. Account Management
- Regularly review and analyse client accounts to ensure maximum value delivery.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, including sales metrics and customer feedback.
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- New business closure call once the customer has gone live account manager to call and introduce themselves and build the relationship and introduce other products and services
5. Market and Product Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and industry trends.
- Educate clients on product features and benefits.
- Gather and share market and customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
6. Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Update CRM with End date for all our products
- Raise Support Tickets as and when required for Customer Support and Tech Team
- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts and reports.
Set KPI’s
These KPI’s will make up your commission Structure
Average of 2 Hour 30 Minutes talk time per day
Average of 50 outbound Calls per day
Speak to all customers at least once every 2 months
Minimum of 5 Trust pilot Reviews every month
Generate at least 8 new business opportunities per month i.e. landline energy mobile IT etc
Generate £10,000 GP per month from add On’s renewals etc
For every KP missed you will lose 5% of you GP value
