What You'll Do
- Understand your customers, gathering data and sharing information with your colleagues to improve the product experience
- Partner with design, and support teams to develop a content strategy for your features, including what type of content customers need at each stage of their interaction with our products
- Work with engineering and your learning team colleagues to respond to the delivery of multiple simultaneous software releases
- Collaborate with writers for other product areas to improve efficiency through shared content and create a seamless content experience for customers
- Evangelize company-wide for great customer experiences, and help establish content development.
- Create and contribute to product guides, help articles, and potentially user interface copy
- Create diagrams and visuals to make it easier for customers to understand and navigate our software
What You'll Need to be Successful
You have demonstrated an ability to develop technical documentation content and processes. Be prepared to share examples and writing samples that demonstrate your qualifications during the interview process.
- 6+ years of directly relevant technical content experience working for an enterprise software company
- 6+ years of experience writing and/or editing for the web and working with Wiki markup and HTML
- BA/BS degree in Technical Writing, Technical Editing, Journalism, or English, or relevant professional experience
