Overview:

Your work will involve pricing proposals across various contract types, including firm-fixed-price, time and materials, and cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts for major government-wide acquisition contracts. Work Schedule and Location:

This full-time remote position operates Monday through Friday, with flexibility for additional hours as needed to meet project demands.

Responsibilities:

Pricing Responsibilities:

Serve as the lead pricer on complex proposals, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all U.S. government cost proposals with applicable government and commercial regulations
Analyze and interpret complex contract terms, ensuring all requirements for cost proposals are identified and met
Develop pricing strategies for individual bids, identifying levers of profitability and opportunities to enhance financial outcomes
Assist in identifying cost risks and developing mitigation strategies
Support subcontract negotiators by analyzing subcontract budget submissions
Complete all cost-related documentation required by solicitations, including representations and certifications

Review and validate Excel spreadsheets for proposal budgets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and correct formatting

 

Additional Responsibilities:

Identify needs for new pricing tools, templates, and processes; contribute to their development as necessary
Advise Programs managers and staff on general and specific pricing strategies for proposals
Assist proposal teams during capture and prepositioning with preliminary budget preparations

Experience developing staffing compensation plans

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in business development pricing or project pricing, with a college degree; an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience will be considered
  • Experience in developing complete budgets for cost proposals in response to solicitations
  • Proven ability to analyze solicitations and develop responsive bid pricing strategies
  • Experience with a variety of contract types, including firm-fixed-price, time and materials, and cost-plus-fixed-fee, as well as familiarity with major government-wide acquisition contracts
