Responsibilities
The GraalVM team strives to provide a universal virtual machine for a polyglot world, to enable applications to perform faster and more efficiently. Our mission is to make development more productive and run programs faster anywhere. GraalVM's compiler is a central part of this technology stack, and is a best-of-class compiler that is both mature and easy to extend.
We are looking for highly motivated internship candidates in a degree program in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related area of study. We expect a strong background in compiler construction and virtual machine architectures.

In order to qualify, you have experience with most of the following technologies:
real-world compiler and virtual machine technology
Java, IDEs like NetBeans or Eclipse
basic Python scripting
basic C/C++ systems-level programming
test-driven development
git
issue trackers like JIRA
