Hays Technology are recruiting a Change Manager for a public sector organisation working remotely, on an 18-month fixed term contract. It will be reporting to Transformation Directorate with occasional trips to Leeds/London.
Your new role
As a Change Manager, you will be implementing change management plans that maximise adoption and minimise resistance, by ensuring that colleagues and stakeholders are well-informed about the changes and have the right tools and knowledge needed for the change. You will also play a leading role in the elevating the organisation's capability and performance in change management coaching and supporting project delivery teams in change adoption best practice.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects meet objectives by increasing employee adoption. Within this role, you will identify and manage key stakeholders and analyse potential resistance to change, by assessing impact and readiness. In conjunction with the communications team, you will develop and implement effective engagement plans, and work with Learning and Development colleagues to create and deliver learning plans to maximise adoption of change. You will track and monitor change management initiatives throughout their lifecycle and provide analysis of effectiveness to test and apply them to future projects.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Demonstrable experience as a Change Manager or in change-related roles.
In depth understanding of how people go through the change process, change Models and their practical application in large organisations.
Proven ability to support employees on their change journeys.
Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems and a proven ability to support employees in their change journeys.
Hands-on experience identifying problems at an early stage and effectively solving problems.
Proven experience of working in project teams and implementing change projects/programs of work.
Engage with stakeholders to understand change impacts and business readiness.
What You’ll Get In Return
This exciting position is paying between £43,000 and £48,000 negotiable on experience and offers an excellent work life balance including: home working, generous annual leave, public sector employer contribution pension scheme, flexibility, training, and development opportunities.
