The Azure AI Customer Experience Engineering team within the AI Platform product engineering organization works with the largest customers and partners in the world to co-innovate, incubate, and improve our core AI platform from scenarios utilizing Azure platform Services, and develop new scenarios and product categories. We do so by building and infusing AI technologies in real world solutions and extending the signals from real world patterns to build robust, scalable AI platform services and products.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be customer facing and responsible for customer success through delivery management of cross-functional programs, and strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships across feature and product teams.

Responsibilities
The role involves collaborating closely with key customers, partners, and feature teams to solve complex problems leveraging Azure AI Platform and Azure OpenAI. Responsibilities will include:
- Deliver on customer promises for complex projects working on Azure OpenAI
- Create strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to enable quality and on time delivery
- Lead matrixed internal Microsoft teams and partners using a breadth of technical knowledge and industry experience
- Anticipate, identify, and mitigate blockers to customer success goals
- Collaborate with key roles including core team of engineers, applied researchers, and others to deliver full Microsoft value to customers
- Share actionable insight, learnings, feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure that internal teams and leadership are coordinated and feel confident, informed, and efficient
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in technical program management or product development collaborating with customers and partners delivering one or more AI, cloud services, enterprise grade solutions, and mobile apps
- 2+ years of practical experience in AI techniques & tools, as evidenced by prior projects
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical IT work experience is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) such as OpenAI and others, Azure AI, Azure ML or their equivalent is highly preferred
- Strong customer focus and a deep commitment to delivering products that create customer value and delightful experiences
- Enterprise customer and partner engagement skills including ability to create a delivery plan, track progress, and resolve issues, risks, and blockers as they arise
- Effective communication skills with a broad range of audiences and ability to influence without authority
- A high tolerance for ambiguity and change
- Outstanding problem solving and conflict-resolution skills across a set of technical, product, and business challenges
- Experience with enterprise solutions and a deep technical understanding of software and hardware
