Job description

Role Overview:

As the VP of Product at Rossum, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product vision and driving its execution. 

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee multiple product areas, managing and building a team of  Product Managers and UX & UI Designers (currently 6 people). 

Your leadership will be instrumental in scaling the product organization, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy. This role demands a balance of strategic oversight, hands-on team management, and close cooperation with other leaders.


Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and lead the overall product strategy and vision for Rossum, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform and guide product innovation.

  • Communicate the product vision and strategy to key stakeholders, including Rossumers, customers, and partners.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear goals and expectations for the product team, providing regular feedback and career development opportunities.

  • Promote a customer-centric approach within the product team, ensuring that customer needs and pain points are at the forefront of decision-making.

Product Development:

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality products on time and within budget.

  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.

Go-to-Market & Customer Engagement:

  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption and growth.

  • Engage with key customers and partners to gather insights, validate product concepts, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Potentially, represent Rossumer at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, serving as a thought leader and advocate for our products.

Metrics & Performance:

  • Define key product metrics and track performance against them, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

  • Continuously assess product performance, user engagement, and market impact, making adjustments as needed to achieve business goals.

  • Ensure that product initiatives contribute to Rossum’s revenue growth and overall market leadership.
