CATEGORY FINANCE ANALYST - Global Commercial Organization
Location: Cork / Ireland
The Role:
The purpose of this job is to drive sales growth, margin improvement as well as strong controls over the financial planning, analysis and reporting. The objective is to drive financially sound decisions that are consistent with the Global commercial organization (GCO) priorities, the Business Group’s (BG) Strategies and more generally the interest of the Company overall. The candidate will play a key role in offering an unbiased and independent view on the business and the decisions that need to be taken.
The primary business interactions in that position are the Business Category Lead, GCO Category Finance Lead and Finance Director. From a functional side, there are frequent interactions with the central & commercial finance team as well as the head of GCO Finance.
From a commercial standpoint, the position will give you an opportunity to work in close contact with the realities of world famous names from the consumer electronics industry, international distribution groups and GCO retail trade. You will live daily with the pace of innovation, technology, product design and the demands of the international financial markets.

In this role you will:
Support the Category Marketing Head in making financially sound decisions, drive profitable sales growth and improve standard margin
Lead the financial planning process for the category across Europe, Africa and Asia. Ensuring transparency of assumptions & integrity of data
Monitor, control, analyze and report the financial performance, marketing investment budgets, and local operating expenses of the category and regions
Provide insightful perspective to the GCO Category team on business and financial matters on existing and new product line launch
Lead and own specific projects in Finance across GCO

Your Skills:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
Experience of 3-6 years in international environment ideally FMCG, Consumers’ Electronics or PC industry
Expert Excel user. Ideally familiar with ESS base and Oracle
Used to working in matrix / functional structure and familiar with multicultural context
University Degree
Fluent in English
Capable to prioritize and bring structure while enabling pace and controls
Self motivated and agile in embracing fast changing business context
At ease in communication with management
