Position: Project Manager (Claims Payments)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 months
Overview:

Ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager in P&C Commercial Insurance domain, with experience in Claims payments processing.
Overall responsibility in an assigned client project to support and lead the account for the purpose of strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. Works closely with the Account Manager to develop a deeper & wider existence within the account. Proactively shares knowledge of risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness across the account.
Under the general direction of the program sponsor, the Project Manager will act as a leader within the client organization, managing large enterprise projects and/or individual programs consisting of inter-related and concurrent projects with a goal of actively and consistently supporting all efforts. The individual will work on large projects in insurance domain, is extremely adaptable, manages and provides leadership for highly complex projects. The role collaborates to define scope, requirements, project governance, design, testing, timeline, budget. The role requires exceptional communication skills and an ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members, and other departments involved.
What You'll Do as a Project Manager:
General Duties/ Responsibilities:

Manages large-scale Claims payments system projects
Track's project and program status and creates delivery roadmaps working in partnership with executive IT leadership and technical teams to ensure clear communication of the on-going development and implementation of all initiatives
Performs critical team resource management and performance management to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time and within budget.
Executes on-going monitoring and continuous improvement plans to ensure team is executing with optimal efficiency.
Serves as an overall leader and liaison between various business units, vendors, Information Systems, Information Security, and impacted business units.
Adherence to budgeting, financial forecasting, cost accounting and project management standards.
Ensures all issues and risks are clearly monitored and managed.
Ensures adherence to overall project control point compliance.
Strategy and Planning:
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders on the account team and the client team.
Partner with account leadership team to define strategy and manage alignment with account development and service delivery strategy.
Maintain thorough knowledge of account service delivery processes and related business functions.
Qualifications:
Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications.
MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
Prior experience working in the Commercial Insurance domain.
