WHO ARE WE?

To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for high-quality content and a high level of SEO expertise. You should be knowledgeable about personal finance subjects such as investing, banking, credit cards, and side hustles. You will edit and update long-form content to improve reader experience and follow SEO best practices with an eye toward boosting rankings and monetization — all while adhering to compliance guidelines.
While you will produce some new content, the majority of your work will be updating and optimizing existing content. You should be equally comfortable doing both. You should also be comfortable making live changes in a CMS and also have strong writing skills in the event that sections of content need to be rewritten or expanded. The balance between creating new content vs. updating existing content may shift over time. We are looking for someone who is agile and understands the changing nature of SEO.
The ideal candidate can balance deep dives into content with a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a highly collaborative team.
