What you'll be doing...
Kiplinger is seeking an editor to manage content around personal finance deals and products for the brand’s website. The eCommerce editor is a skilled and driven digital journalist who knows how to create great content that helps people make buying decisions. This person will have knowledge and interest in personal finance topics including insurance, savings accounts, travel, credit cards, mortgages and more.
The editor should be able to make and maintain evergreen coverage plans as well as follow news and trends to deliver timely information to our readers. A key element is the ability to manage, track and maintain the existing archive of core eCommerce articles, ensuring they are regularly updated to remain timely, SEO-optimized, and therefore ranking well for target terms. The eCommerce editor requires fantastic organizational and time-management skills, a talent for writing sharp, quality content, managing multiple audience strategies at once including SEO and social, as well as the ability to adapt quickly.
We expect this person to have an eye for both grammar and technical information, with high standards to get information right. Ultimately, they will be responsible for articles that give our audience advice on how to make the most out of their money.
