This is a remote position.

Job Overview: 

Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist will play a pivotal role within our Finance team, leading and managing the Accounts Receivable (AR) function with a focus on optimizing collections performance. This role requires a proactive approach to collections, effective customer engagement, and a commitment to maintaining a disciplined AR function. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, supporting high-performing teams, and adhering to relevant policies and contemporary collections management practices.

Job Description: 

Document Management: Maintain a high degree of accuracy when working with detailed documents. Ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner to support organizational reporting functions.

Debtor Management:Ensure debtors are followed up at least once a week to facilitate timely collection and resolution of outstanding debts.

Reporting: Provide weekly reports to management regarding current debtors and the outcomes of follow-up conversations, ensuring transparency and effective tracking of debt collection efforts.





Requirements
1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the applicable industry
Advanced user of relevant accounting software
Intermediate Microsoft suite experience, especially with Excel
Strong data entry skills Receivables experience
Using initiative to ensure quality and efficient work
Management of incoming queries, issues and day to day needs of your clients as they arise
Delivery of results through innovation, implementation and team engagement
Working autonomously and demonstrating a strong ability to deliver to expectations of requirements
Have the ability to speak with clients across a variety of industries and backgrounds
The ability to build, manage and maintain client relationships
Excellent communication both written and verbal
