Marketing Associate 

The purpose of this position is to provide Property & Casualty marketing expertise, including market selection, submissions to carrier, and all aspects of negotiations for both renewal and new business accounts. This position reports directly to a Marketing leader with close alignment in goals and priorities. Successful candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and possess strong negotiation, networking, and relationship building skills. 

Responsibilities 

• Provides P&C marketing expertise, support and assistance to Producers and Account Managers.
• Develops an overall marketing plan and strategy for assigned accounts to ensure that marketing objectives are met.
• Markets new and renewal accounts, including negotiating price and coverage.
• Maintains awareness of the insurance marketplace and insurance company underwriting guidelines, appetites, and programs.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5+ years in P&C marketing and/or sales
• Active P&C License. Designations are a plus.
• Ability to secure and foster business relationships
• Possess strong negotiation skills and the continuing ability to grow these skills
