About the role:
The Partnership Account Executive will be responsible for establishing new partnership relationships, as well as managing existing partnerships, that generate new business opportunities for the entire EasyPost suite of products. The Partnerships Account Executive will need to have a good understanding of the solutions offered by EasyPost, and how they can solve the issues faced by most in the supply chain industry. The Partnership Account Executive will work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities, negotiate agreements, and ensure successful collaboration.
What you will do:
o Research and identify potential partners that align with the company’s strategic goals.
o Build and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities.
o Strategize and build long-term relationships with Partners to establish a Channel Sales motion.
o Prospect and enter into new partnerships that will provide new sales opportunities of EasyPost’s solutions.
o Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations making EasyPost the preferred solution.
o Serve as the main point of contact for partners, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues that arise.
o Maintain customer data i.e. contacts, account health, significant events, etc. in company supported CRM.
o Coordinate with the sales team on referral deals, and help manage the sales process to ensure conversion.
o Work with the sales team and sales leadership to forecast revenue, set targets, and develop sales strategies.
o Collaborate with internal teams to develop partnership strategies and plans.
o Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform partnership strategies.
o Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
o Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and financial viability of partnership agreements.
About you:
o Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field, preferred.
o 3+ years of related sales experience, specific experience selling API driven solutions is a plus.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with prospects over phone, email, and other channels.
o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about prospecting approaches.
o Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to exceed targets and goals.
o Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
o Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
o Demonstrated success engaging and closing net new customers.
o Ability to connect with C Level executives in the e-commerce space.
o Successful track record of meeting and surpassing quotas.
o Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
