What will you do in this role?
The Manager drives the entitlement process for multiple residential lot developments as part of a multidisciplinary team of Oakwood Associates and consultants. This position is responsible for assisting and/or leading comprehensive management of the residential lot delivery process including but not limited to managing consultants through zoning, plan development and approvals, and ongoing community operations. The position will be responsible for the following:
Assisting Director(s) with due diligence efforts on new land acquisitions including the preparation of financial pro-formas and investment packages.
Managing various consultants on multiple projects to deliver platted lots on schedule and within budget.
Assisting with contract management of acquisitions, dispositions, development, and consulting agreements.
Building relationships with local jurisdictions, school districts, builder partners, etc.
Coordinating with key internal and external teams.
Assist with achieving business plan key performance indicators.
Assist with preparing annual business plan projections.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
You Have:
Education - Bachelor’s degree in related field MBA, MRED, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Planning or Landscape Architecture degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in commercial or residential land acquisition and development.
Self-starter and results-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Exceptional organizational, computer & interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
Basic understanding of the entire development and construction process.
Strengths in team management, budgeting, scheduling, and business planning.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
You Might Also Have:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual in-person attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.

Compensation
Base Salary: $95,000 - $115,000
FLSA Status: Exempt
Bonus Type: 15%
