Business Development Manager/Sales Manager (Energy and Utility Solutions) required by a world leading energy consultancy!

UK remote based

Do you have a strong interest and desire to develop a career in energy solution sales? Do you have a strong track record in proactively growing a customer base and delivering against sales targets through high volumes sales calls and meetings? If so, please consider the below commercial role within a leading global brand.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building on the organisation’s existing client base, by selling the Company’s wide range of services through Energy Brokerage, Water and Utility Services  to SME and corporate companies throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Business to business field sales experience is essential, preferably gained in the sale of energy, wider utilities or sustainability services.
  • Strong track record in growing sales and delivering against sales targets through high volumes calls and face to face meetings is essential.
  • Professional approach is essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Strong tenacious sales approach to build a pipeline of business within a competitive market is essential.
  • Proactive approach to researching and engaging sales prospects to build a pipeline and a strong track record of delivering this is essential.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills to drive optimal pricing strategies is essential.
