About the Client:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Representative with expertise in the Muslim travel and tourism industry on an international scale. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique needs and preferences of Muslim travelers and will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships and opportunities in this niche market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Muslim travel and tourism sector. Understand the cultural, religious, and regional nuances that influence travel decisions.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the business by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the global Muslim travel market. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and other relevant partners.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor offerings to meet those needs. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for clients and partners.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and collaborators in the Muslim travel and tourism industry. Negotiate and secure partnerships that align with the company’s goals and values.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to create and enhance travel packages and experiences that cater specifically to Muslim travelers, ensuring they meet Halal standards and other relevant criteria.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth by meeting and exceeding targets. Utilize a combination of traditional and digital sales channels to maximize reach and impact.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with the Muslim travel audience. Provide insights and feedback to ensure messaging and content are culturally appropriate and effective.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives. Analyze data to inform future planning and decision-making.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the travel and tourism industry, with a strong focus on Muslim travel.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Muslim travel market, including cultural and religious considerations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analyze data to inform strategy.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, particularly Arabic or other languages spoken in key Muslim travel markets.
