Position Description

PubMatic is adding a new Director, Advertiser Solutions – Activate (PubMatic's Buying Platform) to our exceptional team of specialized sellers, working across agencies and brands. You are an expert in programmatic buying platforms, with a proven track record of sales success. In this role, you’ll partner across our sales organization to sell the Activate products to our clients. You are highly collaborative, and savvy at working within a team to drive their objectives forward, but also accountable to driving your pipeline.

 

In addition, you enjoy networking at industry functions, entertaining clients often, staying current on the latest programmatic advertising trends, and proactively seeking out knowledge specific to the inner workings of PubMatic’s technology – specifically Activate. The role requires thinking creatively and collaborating with others to execute long-term, complex partnerships at both the enterprise and account team levels.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales of Activate across all major agencies and advertisers working in partnership with the sales team.
  • Refine and execute PubMatic’s Activate sales strategy
  • Drive culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Travel as necessary in support of business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings)
Requirements:
  • Ten plus years of related experience in Sales within a Publisher, AdTech platform, DSP, or SSP company.
  • A robust network of contacts across the buy side with whom you’ve built rapport and trust
  • Applicable experience servicing a client base mix of Holding Companies, Brands and Independent Agencies while promoting PMP and other partnership tactics
  • Past experience guiding deals that may involve global collaboration between multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Solution leadership: able to shape the roadmap of features requested by clients and lead discussion in relationship to our Product Management and R&D team
  • Understand the dynamics of the sell-side, most notably operations of supply side platforms and ad serving tech
  • Ability to present effectively to both agency leadership as well as account teams, and to confidently navigate challenges

 

Compensation Package

Base + Bonus Compensation Range: $250,000-300,000

 

In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
