The Role


We’re looking to hire a dynamic Regional Director of Client Partnerships (West Coast) with deep knowledge and network within the Higher Education space, and with experience of working at a USA University, vendor serving the sector, or regulatory body.


Taking responsibility for your own portfolio of clients you will implement and deliver on a wide range of operational and consultative sales activities to achieve personal and company revenue targets.


Through a combination of account management, regular and considered client outreach and a diligent and entrepreneurial approach to client acquisition you will help to deliver a personalized and highly satisfactory customer experience for our University partner and clients.


North America is a fast-paced growth market that you will be responsible for owning your territory strategy, implementation and success. You will look to use your experience and creativity to find new ways to expand the QS brand in the market while having the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally.


Role responsibilities:


  • You will work with an experienced team and you will develop a visible communications strategy to reach prospective clients through phone, email, webinar and other online touchpoints to drive client acquisition
  • You will have your own quota of existing clients and will be expected to deliver a personal revenue target through a combination of account management and new client acquisition
  • You will update and maintain a thorough record of your customer interaction in our CRM system help to build and deliver a personalized experience based on client preference
  • You will be accustomed to sharing practice in your client approach and be adept at working collaboratively with all teams to improve the client experience
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards to assess the impact of your work in alignment with sales KPIs and revenue targets
  • Use your own initiative to scale up your own client quota and develop innovative approaches and strategies that will enable the sales teams to improve client acquisition
  • Any other additional duties as required

 

Key skills and experience:


  • Prior experience in Sales, Business Development, Admissions, Recruitment
  • Educated to Degree level, or equivalent level – Bachelor’s Dree required (Masters preferred)
  • Proficient use and understanding of CRM and a data driven approach to work
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Deep knowledge of and network across the Higher Education space in the West Coast of the USA
  • Strong networks with Universities – Admission Directors, Deans, Recruitment leads and industry leadership and influencers
  • Experience working at regulatory body, associations or vendors serving the HE community
  • Knowledge of multi-channel domestic and international recruitment strategies in the relevant market
  • Detailed understanding of digital recruitment products and value propositions
  • Strong sales process experience (and sales management practices for management roles) including pipeline and opportunity management, forecasting, territory and account planning, multi-channel client communication, client relationships building and account management.
