About the role πŸ’­
We are searching for a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager who excels in crafting and implementing core messaging, positioning, and competitive displacement strategies for a developer-centric platform businesses. The ideal candidate will have a track record of helping a high-growth Product-Led Growth (PLG) platform business move upmarket. Familiarity with the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Security market is an added benefit.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough competitor research and equip the sales team with effective enablement tools, such as battle cards and presentations, to drive strategic advantage.
  • Regularly engage with customers to extract and synthesize insights, connecting them to value stories and product differentiation.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for new feature releases.
  • Coordinate sponsorships for developer community channels, including blog posts, newsletters, podcasts, and conferences, to boost brand visibility and influence.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deeply understand product features and benefits, translating technical details into compelling messaging for a developer audience.

  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing targeting a developer-focused or technically-minded audience.
  • Proven track record of leading product marketing for a bottoms-up developer product sold primarily to product managers, software engineers, and heads of engineering/product.
  • Technical background with a solid understanding of marketing highly technical products.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling product messaging and positioning for a developer audience.
  • Experience in conducting successful product launches and interfacing with developer-focused publications.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) products is a nice-to-have.
